Join us as we help the underprivileged children of Horton's Kids celebrate Valentine's Day! We'll be accompanying the children on a field trip to Fort Dupont Ice Arena in Southeast, DC. (Note that the facility is indoors) Help make a child feel loved by bringing valentines with you to hand out on the field trip. Suggested valentines include: a box of kiddie Valentines signed "your secret admirer," stickers, or Valentine's Day school supplies.
Optional Orientation will be held from 11 a.m. - Noon (meet at Capitol South)
Skating will begin at 1 p.m.
End Time for Activity - 5:00 p.m. (Return to Capitol South)
Horton's Kids is a non-profit organization that serves more than 200 children in Ward 8 of Washington, DC. Horton's Kids provides after-school tutoring, field trips, summer camps, and birthday and holiday celebrations with the help of dedicated volunteers.
