Calling all beer drinkers...and servers! Come join us at the annual Alexandria Red Cross Waterfront Festival in the heart of Old Town! We will be manning one of the beer tents at the festival on Sunday, June 15th from 2:15-6:30. Proceeds from the festival will directly support the work of the Alexandria Chapter of the American Red Cross. The festival should have plenty of attractions including live performances by Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Smithereens, Virginia Coalition, Little Feat, and other bands that have yet to be announced. Please sign up as soon as possible as the beer tent can only accomodate 10 people.
It is also encouraged that you attend the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control training on June 5th in the evening from 7:00 to 8:00 located at the Red Cross Alexandria Chapter (123 North Alfred Street, Alexandria, VA 22314). We will meet at 2:15 at the Madison Street entrance to Oronoco Park in Old Town to get the festivities started. Hope to see you there!
