The 2005 ACC Men's Basketball tournament is coming to the MCI Center, and Mayor Anthony Williams is joining local ACC alumni in throwing a party! Come kick off the tournament with a party at Dream, one of DC's premier nightclubs.
This fun and interactive party will include a silent and live auction with all proceeds benefiting Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund, a performance by Smashmouth, sports inspired food and beverage, and fun for all sponsors, ticket holders, invited guests and participating school attendees.
A few details:
There will be shuttles running from Dream to Union Station and the Grand Hyatt between 6:15 PM and the end of the party (about midnight).
Union Station will have signage and two Dream attendants directing
people. The information desk and Security will also have information.
The Union Station pick-up and drop-off will be 1st St. across from the
Postal Museum.
Each school will have its own suite. There will be signs at Dream directing UVA ticket holders to UVA�s space.
Free hors d�oeuvres and buffet will be provided.
There will be a cash bar.
Smashmouth will be playing on the second floor.
