Come join your fellow 'Hoos and enjoy a day of Major League Baseball in
the Nation's Capital! The U.Va. Club of Washington and Friends of the
Virginia Pep Band are co-sponsoring a group outing at the Washington
Nationals game on Saturday September 10, 2005, at 1:20 p.m. against the
Atlanta Braves. This is an off-week for U.Va. football, so you have nothing
better to do! The Virginia Pep Band will be on hand liven things up with
performances of the Good Ol' Song and many other favorites before the game.
Given the current standings, this game between the Nats and the Braves is
likely to have playoff implications and will be nationally televised on FOX. Virginia alumni, students, parents and friends all encouraged to come out!
Seats will be in the infield upper reserved
section of RFK Stadium. Order tickets online and pick them up at Will Call
on the day of the game.
