As the largest student-run philanthropy at the University of Virginia, Dance Marathon works throughout the year to plan and fundraise for a twenty-four hour dance event to benefit the Sarah Du Bose Fund for hospitalized children. Through continued efforts Dance Marathon strives to unify the UVa and Charlottesville communities working toward one cause: the financial and emotional support of families connected with the Children's Hospital. Last year Dance Marathon, in its seventh year, raised over $250,000 for the UVa Children's Hospital.
Join fellow UVA Alumni in supporting Dance Marathon at a happy hour at Lucky Bar in Dupont Circle on February 7th at 6pm (until the bar closes!). With a minimum of a $5 donation to Dance Marathon drink specials are available. The drink specials include $3.00 rail drinks, $3.00 yinglings, and a miller light special. We have also arranged for raffle prizes, in which the grand prize is a $100 bar tab for Lucky Bar.
