Spring is here and shorts, ties, and sundresses are emerging from closets all over Charlottesville in anticipation of the Foxfield races. We alums, however, like to take things up a notch as we join University Row at the Virginia Gold Cup. From humble origins as a three-tent string in 1999, by 2001 University Row emerged as the dominant social locale along the Virginia Gold Cup's popular North Rail, a fact affirmed in 2003 when The Washington Post named it a "primary social area". Serving as an anchor tent once again, the UVA Club of Washington welcomes tent partners, Syracuse and Carnegie Mellon.

Continue the excitement at the University Row Post-Party at Rock Bottom Brewery. The busses will be unloading outside Rock Bottom just about at dinner time, so grab a bite and mingle with new and old friends from all the participating schools.
