Come join us at the National Museum of Women in the Arts and explore the artistic diversity of Australian Aboriginal communities through musical performances, hands-on art making, and interactive gallery activities. There will be a variety of activities for both families and individuals.
The Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia has loaned 10 works to the exhibition, "Dreaming Their Way: Australian Aboriginal Women Painters." The Director and Curator at Kluge-Ruhe, Margo Smith, will be giving a dynamic presentation about Aboriginal women artists that will delight all ages. Enjoy a performance by Kerrianne Cox, one of Australia's premiere Aboriginal musicians.
This will be a fun and educational event! Please register (including number of guests, if any).
