Wish you had time to cook a healthy dinner every night? Does your long commute leave you too exhausted for anything more than a frozen dinner?? The Washington Post has noted "....Thyme Out as the best among the meal assembly kitchens in the Washington area" as seen in the Food section on 8/30/06. So come out and socialize with fellow Wahoos, while prepping your family meals; if our party is a sellout by June 8th, then it's BYOB and DCHoos will provide the beer and wine so we can really turn it into a party!!

Thyme Out provides you with everything you need to serve your family delicious, fresh, chef-created meals in just a small amount of time with none of the fuss and muss of shopping and making meals in your own kitchen.

Thyme Out will donate 5% of all proceeds of sales from your group back to The UVA Club of DC's designated charity, AccessUVA. Now you can feed your family, while also helping your favorite organization.

Here’s how it works:

Go to http://www.thymeout.com to register for the DCHoos private party on June 18th, using the password DCHOOS (all uppercase) to gain entry to our private party; space is limited, so register asap. Also, if you are unable to join us on June 18th, any session you participate in between June 1st and June 30th, 2007 will count towards our fundraising for Access UVA - just remember to use our code, DCHOOS.

After you choose your meals, on the check-out page, enter the designated Promo Code DCHOOS (all uppercase) in the "notes box" near the bottom of the check-out page. In order for the party to benefit AccessUVA , please remember to put the code DCHOOS (same code as the party password) into the "notes" box on the checkout page.

Thyme Out will donate 5% of all proceeds from these sales back to your organization, and provide AccessUVA with a check within 6 weeks of the end date.

You and your family get to enjoy amazing meals, socialize with other members of the UVA Club of DC, and support AccessUVA.

Thyme Out is about helping families eat better, while also helping our community. The UVA Club of DC requests your presences for our June "foodie" social event, with a side benefit of "giving back" to the University through AccessUVA.

You must choose a minimum of 6 entrees (approximate cost $150), and can select up to 12 entrees to assemble at this event. Each meal feeds approximately 6 people; so at $25 per meal, it's $4.17 per serving, which is more affordable and better for you than take-out food.
