Is cable news not taking you close enough to the political action in DC? Fulfill your curiosity with a tour of the U.S. Capitol, where "the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate have met for more than two centuries. Today, it stands as a monument not only to its builders but also to the American people and our system of representative democracy."
Tour space is very limited, so members should sign up early to claim their spot!
Parking near the Capitol is very limited, so Metro travel is encouraged (the Union Station and Capitol South stops are the closest). Please arrive 20 minutes early to get through screening. Comfortable shoes are encouraged for this walking tour.
