Flash back to Friday evenings on The Downtown Mall: Lots of your favorite Hoos, great music, food and drinks, getting outside and enjoying the summer. Join the UVA Club for a Washington for one of DC's favorite Friday-evening summer-time traditions: Jazz in the Sculpture Garden. We'll bring the blankets and reserve a spot, so just look for orange and blue balloons to find the group. Bring a picnic or buy food there! This is a VERY popular event and it does get crowded: please register online so we know how much space to reserve and so we can give you the coordinator's cell phone number.
Picnickers are welcome to bring blankets, but alcoholic beverages and coolers are not permitted. During jazz concerts, delicious sangria and a special menu of creative American cuisine is available in the Pavilion Caf� or from carts located on the patios. Admission to the Sculpture Garden and jazz performances is free.
The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden, located on the National Mall at 7th Street and Constitution Avenue NW, is bounded by Constitution Avenue and Madison Drive and by 7th and 9th Streets NW.
