If you’ve ever wanted an up-close look at the biggest office building in the world, here is your chance! LTC Mike Moose, Commerce 1971, has been working at the Pentagon for the past eight months, and he is arranging this great opportunity for an impressive guided tour of the Pentagon exclusively for Club members.

The Pentagon tour is very interesting and full of historical information from 1776 to 2009. The concept for the Pentagon was developed in mid-1941 to provide a solution to the War Department's critical shortage of space. The War Department wanted to consolidate the headquarters of America's military services in one building. Congress appropriated the funds for construction (approx. $83 million) on August 14, 1941. The Pentagon is like a city in itself, with cafes, snack bars, coffee shops, a mall and even banks!

Closer to the tour date, we will ask tour registrants and guests to provide name, DOB, city/state of birth and email. Adults will need to bring two forms of ID (one with photo). Children are welcome, but to enjoy the tour, they should be 8 years old and up.
