October is here and Halloween is near...let's see some ghosts in Old Town!
For the second year, the UVaClub brings you a Ghost and History walking tour of Old Town, Alexandria. Our friends at "Footsteps to the Past" will guide us on our walking tour of Halloween sights and sounds, as we search for ghosts and goblins! Please dress for an evening of walking!
The tour is one to two hours and is full of history and hauntings! The walking tour passes historical homes, churches and graveyards, and after the tour, we can stroll to Pat Troy's Irish Bar for some social time.
No advance payment is needed but please prepare to pay our guides before the tour begins. The group will meet at the corner of King and N. Fairfax Streets at the steps to Market Square. The free King Street trolley goes to Market Square, but it runs every 20 minutes. The tour starts right at 7pm - please look for the orange and blue balloons to find the group!
The next best thing to Halloween in Charlottesville....is Ghosting around Old Town!!
